Rockpool has exited its investment in Hydralectric Group Ltd, a provider of premium valves and flexible hose solutions. The exit delivered a 3.6x net return for equity investors and marks Rockpool’s fourth exit in the last twelve months. The group has been acquired by Hydraflex Hose Group, a market leading specialist in the flexible hose market undertaking a buy and build across plumbing, metal and industrial hoses. The Company and its shareholders were advised by Stephenson Harwood LLP. Hydraflex was advised by Sentio Partners, Addleshaw Goddard, and Kreston Reeves. The service invests in Novus Lending Limited, a lending company which makes secured loans to UK SMEs. The shares should qualify for Business Relief if held for two years, meaning the value of the shares will fall outside of your estate for Inheritance Tax purposes - subject to HMRC's rules for Business Relief.
