9 visuals that will change how you think Mindset shifts I needed a decade ago: Visuals by Ash Lamb (Give him a follow). The truth? Most people read this and go back to watching Netflix. Don’t be one of those people. Make change today. Here are the 9 mindset shifts I wish I had earlier: 1/ Think long-term, but win today ? Your future is built in 24-hour blocks ? Big dreams need small daily actions 2/ The scoreboard that matters most? Yesterday's you ? Addiction to others' highlight reels distracts your progress ? Track your growth, not their success 3/ True wisdom starts with "I might be wrong" ? Experts welcome being proven wrong ? The loudest voice rarely holds the truth 4/ Life gives you what you negotiate, not what you deserve ? Your value isn't what you're worth - it's what you fight for ? No one's coming to discover you 5/ Money buys things. Time buys freedom ? You can always make more money ? You can never make more time 6/ Reading informs you. Teaching transforms you ? Beginners consume. Intermediates do. Experts teach ? Your knowledge compounds when you share it 7/ Do less, but better ? Unnecessary to-do lists kill dreams ? Cut it in half. Then cut it again 8/ Solutions hide in silence ? Busy minds block breakthrough ideas ? Create space to create solutions 9/ Enjoy the process. Your goals will change anyway ? If you only chase outcomes, the journey feels endless. ? The ‘good old days’ are right now - enjoy them. I’m living by #7 right now. Which visual resonates most with you? --- ?? Repost this to help your network learn these lessons! ? Follow me (Will McTighe) and Ash Lamb for more like this.

?? All individuals, leaders, teams, and organizations aspire to perform, but some do much better than others. Why is that? ? It’s because they focus on getting the foundations for performance right. ?? TRUST Trust is the foundation of every relationship, the currency of leadership, and the glue that holds teams together. Without it, progress falters; with it, possibilities are endless. ?? ATTITUDE Your attitude determines how you react to things outside your control. Are you a victim, or are you ready to rise to the challenge? As Winston Churchill said: "Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference." ?? COMPETENCE If you don’t have the right competence or can’t develop it, you’re stuck. This is brutally obvious, yet often forgotten when tackling critical activities or projects.?Ensure your competence matches your ambitions. ?? DISCIPLINE Discipline is what sets great performers apart from the rest. We see it in the world of sports, and it’s equally the currency of performance in teams and organizations. Tom Landry captured it perfectly: "Discipline is doing what you really don’t want to do so you can do what you really want to do." ?? COMMUNICATION Communication permeates everything we do. If it’s poor, the results will be poor too. It's that simple. ? Keep asking yourself: - How am I doing in these five dimensions? - How are we doing as a team and organization? - How can we improve? By focusing on these foundations, we can dramatically accelerate performance and achieve new levels of success! Jakob PS. If you find this valuable, please REPOST and FOLLOW me for more. Thanks! SoftBank World 2024 kicked off on October 3rd with a keynote by SoftBank Group Chairman & CEO Masayoshi Son. During his keynote, Son shared his vision for the future of AI: “By evolving AI beyond mere 'artificial intelligence' into the realms of artificial superintelligence (ASI), it will enable deeper, more meaningful connections rooted in compassion, kindness, and empathy. It could foster tolerance, harmony, nurturing, and deeper, more sophisticated emotional connections—perhaps even approaching a state of enlightenment. I believe AI will progress not just through 5 stages of evolution, but to 8 stages. It will understand emotions, have life logs for long-term memory, and develop its own will, striving for a harmonious happiness for humanity.” At the SoftBank Group, we are committed to driving this transformative journey toward ASI. Together, let's build a more connected, empowered, and joyful world through AI. ?? Watch Son's full keynote (available in English and Japanese) here: https://lnkd.in/gsBtTM8e

The US and Europe are not that different... except for risk capital. In the US, you can raise $millions despite a 10% chance of success. But that made all the difference in building some of the most successful startups today. Someone willing to take a risk. Someone willing to gamble their bet on you. And the US is filled with VCs who have big risk appetites. The result? Startups like Amazon, Google, Meta, and the like are developed. Of course, risk-taking isn't the only factor that led to their success. But it was definitely pivotal to the growth they achieved. The good news is more foreign investors are looking to place their bets on European startups. But you have to show your startup has the potential to capture a global market. That starts by expanding to neighboring regions and even the US market. That's how European startups like Revolut and Wise became unicorns. i5growth - international growth / i5invest: Investment Fund, global tech M&A arm, team of 100+, offices in?
