Our team is at the Ferris State University – School of Built Environment Career Fair today, introducing students to Rockford's exciting career opportunities, including our robust internship program and post-graduation opportunities. We are proud to share that the Amway Treehouse has been nominated for an AIA Grand Rapids People’s Choice Award. Our team recently transformed this two-story office space into a 16,000 sq. ft. modern collaboration area for more than 200 employees to enjoy. The Rockford team joined First Cut Millwork for an open house last week, where we went from station to station to learn how a product goes from conception to completion. Team members were also entered into a raffle to win a custom cooler crafted by the First Cut team with recycled materials from the Corewell Health Place project. School is back in session, which means our favorite time of day is back – recess! The Rockford Safety and Equipment teams recently kicked off our monthly recess chaperoning at Grand Rapids Public Schools Sibley Elementary School to give teachers a well-deserved break. We played catch, hide and seek, basketball and soccer and put our running skills to the test with a race. We’re looking forward to next month!

The Rockford team celebrated with the Holland community yesterday at the official groundbreaking ceremony for Lakewood Place Apartment Village. Offering 190 mixed-income units across seven buildings, the new development will help address the need for workforce housing in the area. Rockford joined Grand Rapids Public Schools staff, community members and other stakeholders on Monday at Innovation Central High School for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially welcoming students back for their first day at the newly renovated ICHS. Updates include renovated classrooms featuring new technology, new lighting and windows throughout the building, new HVAC, auditorium restoration, restored masonry, security upgrades and more to this over-a-century-old building We are proud to have partnered with GRPS to provide an innovative, safe and comfortable facility for both the scholars of today and the future.
