??Every young person deserves the chance to chase their dreams. Meet Jaydin, a Rock to the Future student who had their first opportunity to learn music and visit colleges through the program. “When I joined Rock to the Future in September of 2023 we had college visits at the Community College of Philadelphia and Temple University. These were my first visits so I was excited. When the tour guide took us to the journalism building at Temple, I discovered a new passion! After the visit I knew I wanted to do something in the field of journalism. I would have never found this love and career path if it wasn’t for Rock to the Future. I not only found my new interest for journalism, I also found the college I wanted to go to. This is why I am grateful for them. I couldn’t describe how much Rock to the Future has done for me. They are the best and everyone is so willing to help. Last Friday, we had the absolute honor of surprising our MobileMusic students with a gift they'll never forget: brand-new guitars and keyboards to keep! ???? This incredible moment was made possible thanks to the generosity of Kennedy Violins and our longtime supporter, Ed Ghisu. ?? The joy on the students' faces when they learned these instruments were theirs was priceless! Last weekend, our students went to the NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) College Fair at the Pennsylvania Convention Center! They took a huge step toward their futures by meeting college representatives, learning about different academic programs, and asking questions about life on campus.

We are so excited to be expanding our board with four amazing new members! Karema Farmer, Erica Davenport, Quentin Williams, and Anthony Carlozo each bring a unique skillset to the table with them and we can't wait to work alongside them! https://lnkd.in/e5pBEUuB

?? Love Your Neighbor Fest Recap! ?? Last Sunday, our talented students took to the stage at the Love Your Neighbor Festival, bringing great energy and amazing music to this awesome community event! We also set up a table to connect with everyone who came out to celebrate. Love Your Neighbor Fest is a “pay what you can” day of community, music, and brotherly love, where folks across Philly gathered to raise awareness leading up to Hunger and Homelessness Month. Together, we joined forces to support Broad Street Love and spread awareness around these important causes. Thank you to everyone who came out to support!
