The Institute for Child and Family Well-being (ICFW) is dedicated to “improving the lives of children and families with complex challenges by implementing effective programs, conducting cutting-edge research, engaging communities, and promoting systems change.” On January 8th, they dropped Season 3 of their podcast series, Overloaded: Understanding Neglect. The series “aspires to build a shared understanding of neglect, its underlying root causes, how they overload families with stress, and how we might catalyze systemic and community change to reduce family separations into foster care for reasons of neglect.” The work of ICFW is closely related to the work being done in Rock County with the Rock Families First Movement. We are honored that our very own, Director Kate Luster, was invited to share her expertise and experience on Episode 9, which will drop in March 2025! Check out the Season 3 Trailer where you will get to hear a little sneak peak of Kate’s episode at the 2 minute mark. Stay tuned for the link to Episode 9, but in the meantime, catch yourselves up on Seasons 1 and 2 by subscribing on the website linked above! #HealingGrowthHope https://lnkd.in/gQBBn9xH
