Our Leaders in Focus series continues with Amanda Sanfilippo, a leader dedicated to building connections and strengthening Rochester’s young professional community. As RYP’s Director of Community Partnerships, Amanda is focused on creating opportunities for young professionals to engage, collaborate, and make an impact in the city they call home. By day, she’s an Executive & Internal Comms Business Partner at L3Harris, where she helps break down complex strategies for 15,000 employees. She loves the fast-paced nature of her work—and the chance to see cutting-edge aerospace technology up close. A Rochester native, Amanda appreciates the balance of city life, outdoor escapes, and a food scene that never disappoints. She joined RYP because she knows firsthand how important it is to build real connections—not just in our careers, but in our communities. One of her personal goals? Doubling her strength training personal bests by fall. Her must-visit local spot?
