We are proud to support Appalachian Field Services and it’s mission. Ownership is the foundation to vibrant communities and we will always operate by that mantra.
We have received funding to grow our supportive housing and social enterprise mission. Rochdale Capital provides loan products targeted to cooperative enterprises, small business owners, affordable housing developers, and non-profit organizations that serve under-resourced communities. Appalachian Field Services is receiving a refinance loan of $200,000 and a line of credit for $150,000 at a 6.5% interest rate, which will help alleviate high-interest debts. We're thrilled to be partnering with an emerging #CDFI whose mission is the promotion of cooperative and community ownership.

We celebrate Native American Heritage Month by honoring the traditions, languages, and diverse experiences of Native American and Alaska Native communities. The 2024 theme, Revitalizing Indigenous Connections, emphasizes the importance of continually honoring, maintaining, and renewing Indigenous history and culture with each generation. Let us learn from both the past and the present to address the intergenerational trauma that Native people continue to experience, striving for healing and positive change for future Indigenous generations.

Celebrating Indigenous Peoples' Day Today, we celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day, honoring the resilience, perseverance, and invaluable contributions of Native American Tribal Nations. Currently, there are 574 sovereign tribal nations (variously called tribes, nations, bands, pueblos, communities, and Native villages) across the United States. Despite their diversity, these tribes share a common thread of strength in the face of adversity. Through ongoing struggles, they have preserved their vibrant cultural identities and continue to thrive today. Let us all discover and celebrate the enduring legacy of Native American heritage, which continues to enrich the fabric of American society.
