Fully autonomous. Truly collaborative.

关于我们

Collaborative productivity and real-life AI. RobustAI is founded and led by a world-class robotics team. We bring AI, robotics, and human-centered design together to make robots broadly useful, effortless to adopt, and delightful to use. Autonomous when it can be. Collaborative when it can’t be. Carter? is novel form of mobile robot that allows for seamless collaboration with people across picking, putaway and value added service.

Day 2 did not disappoint - a very full schedule for Carter and the team! ?? Lots of picking demos, great conversations, handlebar waltzes, and even a group photo at the end of the day! ?? Excited to see what Day 3 brings… ??

Scenes from ProMat Day 1... There were some memorable moments, but one of our favorites was getting the question: Robots for people - what does that mean? Answer: Everything! ?? Having robots people can understand, safely experience and personally enjoy makes these shows meaningful and fun for attendees - and for our team. ?? Day 2 always serves up the biggest crowds, so it's going to be an even busier day for Carter and team ?? Look for us in the Lakeside Building: E12923! ??

Law 1 of Robot Design: Set the proper expectations and deliver on them Heading into ProMat, where there will be even more robots than you remember from last year, the thrill of exploration and entertainment is in full effect. But it's important to evaluate things like form, function, and value - which brings us back to Leila Takayama's Three Laws of Robot Design. ?? ?? Law 1 emphasizes that robot design should only make promises it can keep. If people and robots are going to work together effectively, people need to understand what robots can and can’t do to plan accordingly. (As Rodney Brooks would say, if the robot has eyes, it had better be able to see). ?? ?? For more on the first law (and laws two and three), check out the full blog article in the comments. We look forward to seeing many of you - and MANY robots - on Monday! ?? ?? Image credit: Everyday Design

Picking, putaway, point-to-point transport, and sortation - all in the same collaborative robot. ?? ?? Carter? also serves as a: Mobile putwall for goods to person and ASRS fulfillment Reverse Logistics sortation to directed putaway Autonomous routing solution between different inventory zones If any of this ??could help your warehouse teams get more done, come see Carter in action - or get in touch with us to schedule meeting at?MHI: The Association That Makes Supply Chains Work?ProMat. It all kicks off NEXT WEEK ??

Kicking off the week with a couple of scenes from Rodney Brooks' keynote at the Texas Robotics and AI Research Symposium last week, where he shared his Three Laws of Robotics, hype cycle insights, and decades of experience with physical AI. ?? He was also keen to share Arthur C. Clarke's Three Laws - the first of which states: "When a distinguished but elderly scientist states something is possible, s(he) is almost always right." ? Rodney's keynote, panelist, interview, podcast, etc. calendar is always packed, so stay tuned for the next! ?? Image credits: Texas Robotics ??

Speed only kills when you don't have it. Warehouses don't have long timelines to get automation solutions up and running, accepted by the team, and showing tangible results. ? Carter recently hit 60%+ productivity gains in less than two weeks because it's designed for speed - not just efficient autonomous movement, but faster acceptance and adoption. ?? Collaborative productivity is what gets you Day-1 ROI. Come check it out at ProMat! ?? ??

The Atlantic Council is hosting its annual forum in recognition of International Women’s Day 2025, and our Director of Product Commercialization, Cynthia Yeung is speaking on the 'Unlocking pathways for women in AI' panel. ??♂? Cynthia has taken on everything from a robotic coffee bar startup, to leading next-gen product at SoftBank Robotics, to partnerships for Google[X], to being a founding board member of Women in Robotics (and more). ?? Women are behind some of the greatest scientific breakthroughs, including achievements in AI. Yet only 34% of the STEM workforce is female, with only 26% in data and AI positions. ?? For inclusive AI solutions, having women contributing throughout the entire design-build-GTM ecosystem is crucial. We are extremely proud of and take pride in celebrating 'Diversity as a Strength' as one of our core cultural values. ?? Go, Cynthia! ?? (link to more information in the comments) ??

It's fine to be excited and curious about technology in its hype stage. That's why so many people want to work in tech. But to move from hype to transformative solution takes time - and proof of value. Our Co-Founder & CTO, Rodney Brooks was quoted in this PMNTS article in response to the recent humanoid video from Figure: “Until we reach a point where two stationary-legged robots can manipulate objects with enough speed and efficiency to deliver a cost-effective, ROI-positive solution that businesses are willing to adopt at scale, I’ll remain skeptical about any so-called breakthrough in robotic picking technology.” https://lnkd.in/g4rrPrEW

A lot of people don't believe they can take control of Carter? when it's in fully autonomous mode. This is exactly why events like ProMat exist. Sure, you get to see a lot of cool new things - but you also can get proof and validation for things that can start making a difference right now. Collaborative robots shine a little brighter at shows because people can be hands-on (not behind a rope/glass) to experience effective, safe and human-friendly automation. ?? ?? ??♂?
