Thanks to the support we've experienced in downtown Portland, FATHOM is extended through February 2025! “It’s been great having such a positive family experience in our neighborhood,” said the Rialto’s Kelly Lanier. “It has brought a wonderful crowd to our establishment and is helping to bring this area back to life. It’s lovely seeing families out walking around down here again.” We appreciate the tireless advocacy shown by civic partners Melvin Mark Brokerage Company, City of Portland, Travel Portland, Downtown Portland Clean & Safe and neighboring businesses the Rialto Poolroom, Jack London Bar, and Cu?n Vietnamese Street Food. A better Portland is possible!

关于我们
Roboto Octopodo is a collaboration of over 100 local Portland artists and volunteers, who came together to create the immersive art experience called FATHOM. From metalworkers to painters to performers to techies, there is nothing that we can’t create. Our current installation, FATHOM, revitalizes an empty 8,000 square foot retail space in downtown Portland, filling it with undersea magic and attraction families to the heart of downtown Portland. Founded in 2022 on principles of collaboration, sustainability, and pushing creative boundaries, Roboto Octopodo is an artist collective dedicated to redefining the art experience. The group features over one dozen Portland-area based creators with experiential ties to the Portland Winter Light Festival, Burning Man, Maker Faire, and more. With a diverse range of talents, the collaboration seeks to inspire and engage communities through immersive and transformative installations.

Roboto Octopodo ‘s FATHOM brings family-friendly fun to downtown on a Sunday night!
Picture this: Sunday evening in Downtown Portland and people are everywhere! It’s true :) Last night a group of us dropped into FATHOM’S Roboto Octopodo to unravel the mystery of the ooze and play around all the local artist’s work. We had a blast! We headed out afterward to find all sorts of people around downtown, from families with little kids to couples on a date to groups of teenagers out and about. Feelin’ good in Portland!

Thank you to Andrew Jankowski and Willamette Week for their preview coverage of FATHOM, opening tomorrow, May 17th! "In February... guests nearly curved the downtown block in chilly weather to walk through a glowing sea bed. On Friday, May 17, guests can return to Southwest 4th Avenue and Alder Street for a?Fathom?leagues deeper than what they may have seen only months ago."
