RoboGeorgia kicked off the year with a fantastic tour of the robotics operations at the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC). Nearly 40 attendees had the opportunity to hear an informative presentation from Shane Groves, WR-ALC Robotics and Automation SME, before exploring several cutting-edge robotics applications in action. The tour showcased advanced technologies such as additive and robotic scanning, incremental metal forming, wing defastening, laser depaint, and radome scanning/repair—all critical solutions for dirty, dull, and dangerous jobs in low-volume, high-mix applications. This tour highlighted yet another way that Georgia is leading the way in robotics innovation. A huge thank you to WR-ALC for hosting and to all who attended!
