Our Lean Practice Leader Jennifer Lacy had the privilege of joining a panel at her alma mater Texas A&M University-Commerce, geared toward the success of student athletes in the workplace. She shared advice with them on transitioning to professional careers and emphasizing their unique strengths, as well as highlighting the importance of effectively juggling sports, academics, and career preparation. As an alumna herself, Jennifer hoped to provide some valuable guidance and inspiration to these student athletes. We look forward to seeing them excel!

We were excited to join Remedy Medical Properties and Centra Health to celebrate the topping out of Centra Langhorne Medical Center in Lynchburg, Virginia. The project includes a five-story, 126,813-square-foot medical office building that features pre-surgery, imaging, outpatient rehabilitation, endocrinology, brain and spine, urology, pulmonology, and pain management services. Our Miami—Fort Lauderdale Office Leader Johnathan Peavy was recently recognized among South Florida Business & Wealth's Apogee Awards winners. The Apogee Awards recognize distinguished leaders dedicated to their industries and communities. Johnathan has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, and in his role as our Miami—Fort Lauderdale office leader, he oversees projects at eight medical campuses in South Florida, with contracts totaling more than $1 billion. With a background in civil engineering, Johnathan's cross-discipline expertise makes him a unique asset to the construction process, and he takes pride in knowing the healthcare facilities under his purview have a lasting impact on the community. This year's Lean Construction Institute (US) Congress in San Diego, California, was an exciting opportunity for our team to network and share experiences with peers. We hosted three sessions, including one that demonstrated how to keep Conditions of Satisfaction (CoS) at the forefront of the decision-making process; another that demonstrated how Takt Planning saved improved speed to market; and a panel with O'Shea Builders that provided tangible strategies for engaging their workforce. At the close of the event, our Takt Planning session, led by Superintendent Jared Wilson and Innovation Lab Manager Steve Moore, was named "Top Live Lab," and our Lean Practice Leader Jennifer Lacy was named co-chair of the 2025 Congress. Thank you to our teammates and partners who joined us to help tell important stories that move the industry forward. We were excited to celebrate the topping out of the new AdventHealth Meadow Pointe Emergency Room in Pasco County, Florida. The more than 13,000-square-foot Emergency Department will have 12 patient beds and two triage rooms, and will offer imaging and lab services. Congratulations to our Florida team for winning ABC Florida East Coast Chapter's Excellence in Construction first-place Eagle Award for our Jupiter Medical Center Johnny and Terry Gray Surgical Institute project! ?? The team was also recognized with the Award for Most Innovative Use of Technology for their work on the project. The standalone 90,000-square-foot facility features 16 state-of-the-art operating rooms and two hybrid operating rooms to accommodate advanced surgical technology. These "operating rooms of the future" are designed to support the surgical needs of Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast residents and medical professionals for decades to come. We are incredibly proud of our team and their work on this project!
