Today marks the US Navy's 249th Birthday. We celebrate the US Navy by promoting pride and professionalism in the naval service and enhancing the appreciation of Navy heritage. The Continental Congress established the US Navy in 1775 when it was first known as the Continental Navy. Robert Irvine always feels at home with the sailors being a veteran of the British Royal Navy himself and now a proud US Citizen and supporter of the US Navy.

Foley to the Robert Irvine Foundation family as we are launching Let’s Chow as the official Food Truck program of the Robert Irvine Foundation. We are providing services for veterans through cooking therapy, culinary education, business advice, and the opportunity to run their very own food truck to build the business of their dreams. Look out for a Let’s Chow veteran-operated food truck in a city near you soon! We’ll be highlighting our Robert Irvine Foundation’s Let’s Chow Food Truck program this month. Robert Irvine and RIF Board Members Ramón “CZ” Colón-López and Justin Leonard were among members of the Robert Irvine Foundation who joined a recent Armed Forces Entertainment tour across Eastern Europe, visiting troops stationed at military bases in Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia. In addition to spending time with US troops, they also met with French allied forces and a group of British troops who happened to be from Chef Irvine's hometown. "On this trip, we promoted a culture of self-respect. We actively listened to people's concerns to find solutions. And we follow through with our promises.
