?A Name Change That’s Been Years in the Making ? Back in 2020, my (now fiancé ??) and I started our business together under the name Rooted Webs. It was our first big leap as business partners, and while we poured our heart and soul into it, there was a hiccup: we weren’t able to secure the trademark for the name. But pivots can quickly turn into possibilities, and today, I’m so happy to share two exciting updates: 1?? We are officially TRADEMARKED! RN Designs is here to stay. The journey to this moment took nearly three years, but it was so worth the wait. We’ve learned, grown, and built something we’re truly proud of. (Shoutout to Summer Burnley, Esq. for making this happen). 2?? I’m ENGAGED! A few months ago, my incredible partner in business (and now life) asked me to marry him! ?? It feels like everything is coming full circle, and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s next — in both life and business. Sometimes the best journeys take time, and we truly are on no one else's schedule but our own. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through the ups, the pivots, and the perseverance. ? Because she existed, we are better. ? International Women’s Day may have passed, but I want to celebrate the woman (and client?????) who shaped me most—my mom, Kisha Dixon, CPTM. Our family gathered this weekend in her hometown of New Orleans, and I was reminded - in the best possible way - of four lessons she lived by: ?? Live fully. ?? Learn constantly. ?? Love deeply. ???Lift others as you climb. She lives on in the stories we continue to tell, and creating this visual tribute was a special way to honor her artistry, wisdom, and legacy.
