We said a very bittersweet "Goodbye" to Amy this week. She has been at RMHC-CP as the Development Director for 17 years. Yes, 17 years! During her years of commitment, she has managed with compassion and dedication, successfully leading development efforts to meet our mission year after year. She is a wonderful colleague and friend and we wish her well in her new endeavors. Come back to visit, Amy! ????

GOOD LUCK to the Philadelphia Eagles ?? today, home of the very first Ronald McDonald House in the world! In 1974, Philadelphia Eagles player, Fred Hill, and his family experienced sleeping in waiting rooms and eating out of vending machines while their daughter was being treated for leukemia at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. With Fred Hill’s support, along with the support of the Philadelphia Eagles and McDonald’s restaurants, the first home was built…and the rest is history! GO BIRDS ??

#WISHLISTWEDNESDAY! We are in need of items for our "Cart with a Heart" at UPMC Harrisburg! This new hospitality cart can be found at the UPMC Pediatric Inpatient, Neonatal Intensive Care and Emergency Services Departments and offers snacks, arts and crafts, personal care items to help ease the stress of families hospital stay. Donations may be dropped off at the Ronald McDonald House at 745 West Governor Road in Hershey between 9AM-8PM 7 days a week! THANK YOU! ????????????
