Join us as we celebrate the McDonald's crew at 3120 S. Dixie Blvd. in Radcliff for leading the way in 2024 with their Round-Up efforts! Thanks to their dedication and the generosity of the community, they raised an incredible $39,920 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana—the most in the region. That’s 289 nights for families to stay close to their child receiving medical care. To all the crew members asking that simple question, “Would you like to round up for RMHC?” and to every customer who said “Yes”—thank you. You are making an impact, one penny at a time. ?? ??

We are honored to recognize Herb Shulhafer, a former board member and longtime friend of our Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana (RMHCK), as he receives the Beach Craigmyle Humanitarian Award! ???? Herb played a vital role in our expansion in 2003 and 2009, serving as the lead architect on our North Wing 3rd and 4th floor expansion projects, creating spaces where families can find comfort and care when they need it most. His commitment to serving others extends far beyond our House—his passion for giving back can be seen in his work with the Prospect-Goshen Rotary Club, the Bread of Life Food Pantry, the Oldham County Operation Parent program, and so much more. His impact is felt throughout the Kentucky community, from leading architectural projects to enhancing local parks and playgrounds. Herb’s heart for service and dedication to helping others truly embody the spirit of this award. Herb, from all of us at RMHCK, thank you for your kindness, your leadership, and your unwavering support of families in need. This honor is so well deserved!

??Only 5 days until one of our favorite nights of the year—the Red Tie Gala! We are so excited to have the Pruden family share their story with us. Their son, Jerome, arrived early—at just 27 weeks—on March 15, 2020, right before the world shut down due to COVID-19. The Prudens were one of the few families who stayed at our House during the pandemic, spending 167 days with us. Far from home and overwhelmed by the unknown, his parents found more than a place to stay—they discovered a community that surrounded them with comfort, care, and hope. ???? Your support makes it possible for families like the Prudens to stay together when they need it most. Learn more at RedTieGala25.org ?This night of impact wouldn’t be possible without our incredible supporters including our top sponsors, McDonald’s Restaurants of Kentuckiana and Kosair for Kids. Thank you for helping us make a difference!?
