Lindsay is a Partner in the Financial Service practice with 15 years of public accounting experience serving the financial services industry.
Lindsay’s experience serving public and private financial institutions includes financial statement audits, audits of internal control over financial reporting, HUD compliance engagements, and mortgage company audits. Her experience also includes auditing non-interest revenue streams including trust and wealth management, insurance, property management and mortgage banking as well as auditing business combinations and complex models for the allowance for credit losses.?She has provided financial statement and internal control audit services for regional and community banks, ranging in size from $1 billion to $50 billion in total assets.
Lindsay has extensive experience with auditing public company financial institutions, with in depth knowledge of the SEC's financial reporting rules and regulations regarding interim financial statements on Form 10-Q, annual financial statements on Form 10-K and the reporting requirements for registration statements of debt and equity securities.?She's also well versed with the internal control audit requirements of the PCAOB and the FDIC.
Lindsay’s client experience includes TowneBank, First Citizens BancShares, Inc., First Bancorp and North State Bancorp.??
Lindsay is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and she's part of the Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia Bankers Associations.
Lindsay is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a B.S.B.A. degree and an M.Acc. degree.
