Each year, we offer both new employees and those new to substation design the opportunity to attend the Principles of Substation Design and Construction course at UW-Madison. This year, we’re proud to support Jenna Hirshfeld, Colin Hutchins, and Colby Laflamme as they attend from October 21-23. Hosted by UW-Madison’s College of Engineering (COE), a renowned leader in empowering engineers and technical professionals, this course provides our team with the skills and knowledge to excel in substation capital project design. Continuous learning is at the core of what we do, and we’re excited to see how this opportunity will enhance their professional journey and our collective success.

We are excited to announce that our team members, Asa Sproul, Amir Musavi, and Michael Hanestad (Vice-Chair), will be actively participating in the IEEE 1547.7 Working Group kicking off this Thursday, September 26th, from 11 AM to 1 PM! This group will focus on revising the guide for conducting impact studies for Distributed Energy Resource (DER) Interconnection, ensuring that our industry standards continue to evolve with emerging technologies. Our team's expertise and commitment will play a crucial role in shaping this standard and advancing the integration of DERs.
