Reflecting on (almost) one year at RKD Group and I couldn’t be happier! If you know me at all, you know how important animals and animal rescue are to me. It has been absolutely incredible to carry this passion over into my professional life and help regional and national animal care organizations save animals in need. Every single day I am so motivated, inspired, and energized by what I do. I’ve been traveling a lot lately, meeting with our amazing partners from Raleigh, NC to Seattle, WA and everywhere in between. The lifesaving work they do is CHANGING THE WORLD. Animals are so deserving of our care. They love us unconditionally, and it’s something humans could learn a lot from. Being able to support our amazing Animal Care partners over the past year has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I’m trying not to tear up writing this! The hardest part of my job is not leaving every shelter with a new furry family member. I’m so grateful to every single person I work with at RKD for embracing me with nothing but love and support since day one - especially Megan England, Eddy Camas, Nancy Shroads, Lisa Jones Rossi & Stephanie Kirk who helped me so much in the beginning. Cheers to year one — and many, many more!!! P.s. Please consider making a donation to your local animal shelter; or fostering. In 2024, surrenders to shelters were up and length of stay for dogs of all sizes increased. Please help these hard working shelters continue their lifesaving work - especially in these uncertain times where many organizations are now at risk of losing federal funding *insert major sigh and eye roll here.*

Meet Ruth Morse, Senior Director of Account Management at RKD! ?? Based in Medway, Massachusetts, Ruth has been with us for nearly 12 years, supporting and leading the Account Management team with a focus on process improvement. She’s always working to make sure our team is operating smoothly and delivering exceptional results for our clients. Outside of work, Ruth’s life is filled with her two guinea pigs and a 35-year-old turtle—talk about a menagerie! ??? She’s also passionate about nonprofit work, dreaming of running a home organizing business or supporting animal welfare or social justice causes. What does Ruth love most about working at RKD?
