Happy Friday! It seems like this week has flashed forward! Today's feature combines a flash forward and a way back. We designed conceptual renderings for an assisted living facility in Phoenix, Arizona, that was done for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, better known as HUD. Although this project has reached a standstill, we can still appreciate all the hard work and craftsmanship that went into such a beautifully designed facility. Let's take a look at yet another completed self-storage facility of ours. ? This beautiful project was completed back in 2017 and is located off of Thomas Road and 48th Street in Phoenix, Arizona. Remember awhile back when we posted a beautiful rendering of a storage facility located off of the Loop 303 in Surprise? This project is now well underway and almost nearing completion! This giant storage facility is being built on prime real estate, right off of Loop 303 and Cactus Road, in the largely expanding Surprise, Arizona. Featuring an extensive collection of exterior drive-up storage units, and plenty of indoor air-conditioned units as well, this facility will be able to accommodate most storage needs. ? Talk about a transformation!! ? Sometimes a building just needs a fresh look.?And that's exactly what RKAA was able to accomplish with this former Wendy’s Restaurant - transforming it into a sleek looking Starbucks. ? This project consisted of taking an old Wendy's building and giving it a facelift for a new Starbucks.?The best part is, this project was completed nearly 10 years ago and still looks as modern as some of our newer Starbucks projects!! ? This development continues to grow day-by-day, with the northern portion currently under construction! The portion that has been completed has already won the 2024 NAIOP's Best Retail Project of the Year Award, and it was also a 2024 RED Awards Mixed-Use Project of the Year Finalist!
