During the month of November, RIZZO International, Inc.’s employees successfully hosted another impactful food drive so local families in need have a little extra support during this season of giving. ? Donations went to the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church’s “Loaves and Fishes” Emergency Food Program. They provide a three-day supply of food to those who need it. ? A heartfelt thank you to everyone who pitched in and to our amazing team for their generosity. Guerra, P.E. will be in Vienna, Austria for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)’s International Conference on Small Modular Reactors and their Applications. ? Global demand for energy is increasing as countries strive to develop their economies and sustain their societies in a context of climate change. The IAEA projections estimate that electricity consumption will almost double by 2050. Nuclear innovation is bringing forth new technologies and designs such as small modular reactors (SMRs), which may offer a viable option for achieving clean and abundant energy accessible to more countries. RIZZO will bring to this discussion its industry know-how on civil engineering and site evaluation for deploying reactors around the world.
