We're thrilled to have a booth at this year's Council of Independent Colleges Chief Academic Officers Institute, where we're engaging with thought leaders and visionary provosts who are redefining academic excellence. Our team is here to listen, learn, and share insights on how career-focused programs paired with a liberal arts foundation can help colleges sustainably grow. Thank you to the incredible provosts and academic leaders who stopped by so far! Hearing stories from your campuses drive us to continue developing programs that empower students and institutions alike. Looking forward to more meaningful conversations. #HigherEd #CICCAO #AcademicInnovation #2024CAOI

Presidents of regional private nonprofit colleges face mounting pressure from their boards to secure major donors and discover a “silver bullet” solution to financial sustainability. The push for large, one-time donations often seems like the best path forward, yet a $10 million endowment generates only about $500,000 in annual payout—typically not even enough for a single payroll.??? Building a sustainable growth story that doesn’t depend on a single donation or an endowment’s limited payout is essential. ↗ Explore how: https://lnkd.in/eqm6SMuG #collegesanduniversities #higheredleadership #innovationineducation #advancement

Higher ed reporting enjoys doom and gloom narratives. So our latest Rize Up blog post highlights that many universities are thriving by delivering the right programs at the right price point. Concordia University-St. Paul is a shining example of this, so it was awesome to see their success celebrated in a recent article. "It was the start of a strategic plan centering on affordability, quality academics and growth, Eric LaMott said, with an emphasis on adding in-demand programs that lead to strong job prospects." Easier said than done, but CSP is doing it. 2x enrollment since 2012-2013 while remaining affordable. https://lnkd.in/eF8fUPSc https://lnkd.in/e6UzipBS

Happy National First-Generation Day! ?? ?? ?? We're proud to serve first generation students at small colleges across the country. Our mission is to provide every student with a pathway to a fulfilling career. We’re especially excited about our work with colleges like Oklahoma Wesleyan University (OKWU) to support first-generation college students, who often face distinct challenges on the path to a degree. OKWU, known for its close-knit and faith-centered community, wanted to expand opportunities for students pursuing fields like Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Game Development—programs that are crucial for modern careers. By partnering with Rize, OKWU could offer these majors in a hybrid model, combining Rize's structured, project-based online courses with OKWU’s in-person support and mentorship. For first-gen students at OKWU like Jorge, the impact is profound. As a Computer Science major, Jorge values the flexibility, clear structure, and 24/7 support provided by Rize’s courses. This experience allows him to balance school with life commitments, stay rooted in his family’s goals, and prepare for a fulfilling career—all while feeling a strong sense of belonging on OKWU’s campus. In just over a semester, nearly 10% of OKWU undergrads have enrolled in Rize-powered courses. Our partnership not only helps students access in-demand majors but also ensures that OKWU can maintain its intimate, relational approach to learning. We’re proud to work alongside OKWU’s dedicated faculty and staff to support first-gen students as they work toward brighter futures. ?
