Better data leads to the BEST designs! That’s Cody Marschner out there in the snow, installing flow loggers to better inform a future restoration design. Welcome to the RIVHAB team, Zach Cooley! Zach joins us as a Civil Engineer with a wide range of expertise, ranging from civil site design to mine reclamation, and of course, rivers. Originally from Eastern Oregon, he brings experience working throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond, in both engineering and construction related roles. With all of his previous construction related experience, we are thrilled to have him on board as RIVHAB's Construction Division continues to grow. Watershed Restoration Helps Preserve Paradise! ?? Chaney Creek, a near-three mile-long creek located in Blaine County, Idaho is surrounded by acres of farmland, natural woodlands and sagebrush prairie. It's also a major tributary in the Silver Creek watershed. RIVHAB was proud to partner with ENVIROdredge on the successful restoration of Chaney Creek through precise dredging techniques, carefully preserving adjacent streambank habitat. This project not only enhances the beauty and accessibility of the creek but also benefits temperature and sediment downstream. By working closely with landowners and using sustainable practices, RIVHAB is helping preserve and protect the vital Silver Creek watershed for future generations. As we welcome 2025, we wanted to reflect on our first amazing 5 years! This December marked FIVE years of providing high-quality water resource designs, engineering solutions, and experienced construction implementation at RIVHAB Engineering Design. The clients, partners, projects and landscapes we get to work in are incredible and we’re so thankful for the trust and relationships we’ve built. This year, we added to our talented, growing team, got our Public Works Contractor license, and transformed into a true Design/Build engineering and construction company.
