Located in the Como neighborhood, this transformed grain elevator at Brook Avenue Housing Co-op is more than a mural – it's a beacon of unity and a celebration of our shared humanity. The words, displayed in six languages, reflect the diversity of our city and the universal longing for peace. As a community-driven organization, Riverton was proud to partner in creating this iconic Peace Pole. With delicious local eats, from Ethiopian dishes to classic pizza and pasta, there was something for every taste bud. The kids had a blast with face painting, balloon animals, and bubbles galore, while adults enjoyed quality time with neighbors.
