The RiverStone Health Hospice team held a ceremony yesterday to honor Father Jose Marquez of Mary Queen of Peace. Father Jose has volunteered his time to serve Hospice patients and their families for more than 10 years. A brick honoring him will be placed in the Robin and John Felton Community Garden on the RiverStone Health campus. "To see all these faces, it's wonderful," Father Jose said as he spoke to the team of Hospice staff gathered for the event. "It takes all of us working this way - as a village." Many staff shared their stories of his humble and judgement-free service to patients and families that bring them peace in a difficult time. "I bring Jesus Christ," Father Jose said, "He brings the peace."
