关于我们
Rivers of Hope started with the community in mind. Many individuals in the community does not know about insurance and some of the programs that falls under their insurances. Rivers of Hope tries to educate the community about their rights. We work with individuals that is in need of an advocate, a parent that needs words of encouragement, and support. We deal with adult children that is now taking care of their parents by providing small financial tax free stipend relief to help with the situation. We also help parents that has adult child with disabilities and attends IEP with them.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease where the immune system mistakenly attacks the myelin, a protective sheath that covers nerve fibers. This damage disrupts communication between the brain and the rest of the body. Over time, MS can lead to permanent nerve fiber damage. Symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms of MS can vary greatly from person to person and depend on which nerve fibers are affected. Common symptoms include: Numbness or tingling. Electric-shock sensations with certain neck movements (Lhermitte sign). Lack of coordination or difficulty walking. Weakness. Vision problems such as blurry vision, double vision, or loss of vision in one eye (often with pain). Dizziness or vertigo. Trouble with bladder, bowel, or sexual function. Fatigue. Slurred speech. Cognitive issues like memory problems, difficulty thinking, or understanding information. Mood changes. Pseudorelapses: Small increases in body temperature can temporarily worsen MS symptoms but are not considered true disease relapses. When to See a Doctor Make an appointment with a healthcare provider if you experience: Persistent numbness, weakness, or vision changes. Unexplained symptoms such as fatigue or lack of coordination. Any other symptoms that interfere with daily life or concern you. Early diagnosis and treatment can help manage MS effectively and improve quality of life. #ScituateLiving #BrocktonSupport #PlymouthCountyMA
