Anand Rau shared a couple dozen pictures with a few folk to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the signing for the merger of Efinity and Need2Buy that created RiverOne on October 23, 2001 - 23 years ago! Here is one of the best action shots with (L to R) Jay Vigeland, Trevor Bell, Anand Rau, Mark Levy, then a mystery man, and finally Chris Smith. If you want the whole set reach out to Anand or I Per Robert Breault: Time brings an end to everything. We should not mistake for a tragedy what is no more than the passage of time. And per Dolly Parton: Adjusting to the passage of time is a key to success and to life: just being able to roll with the punches.

A great company with a great team ~ 15 years early with a multi-tenant SaaS 'outside the 4 walls' SCM solution!
关于我们
RiverOne, Inc. was an early SaaS company providing supply chain management software and services for trading partners across distributed electronics industry supply chains. RiverOne's customers included OEMs, EMS companies and component suppliers that accounted for more than 25% of global outsourced manufacturing - including Acer, Flextronics and Solectron. The company's INTERACTIVE software solution enabled business processes across the "inter-enterprise" delivering integrated execution, planning, and metrics through a single business application for structured collaboration 'outside the four walls.' Only RiverOne fostered supply chain intimacy by enabling organizations to define and drive their supply chain operations partner-by-partner, and program-by-program. RiverOne, Inc. was created by the merger of Efinity (founded in 1999) and Need2Buy Inc. in November 2001. As of February 21, 2006, RiverOne operated as a subsidiary of i2 Technologies, Inc based in Irvine, California.

As some will remember, in 2006, i2 purchased RiverOne - but did not know how or perhaps want to support our SaaS collaborative supply chain solution, INTERACTIVE. Well recently, Blue Yonder (previously purchased i2) has bought similar functionality with its significant One Network acquisition validating that RiverOne was a bit early but had the right idea of combining multi-enterprise collaboration and planning. https://lnkd.in/efEUWeJw
