#UpdateAlert This month, the River District team is installing a brand new stormwater management system! This underground detention system temporarily stores runoff in large underground chambers before releasing it at a controlled rate. This mitigates erosion, flooding and harmful effects of stormwater runoff.

Progress update! Curious what's going on at the River District? ?? Infrastructure construction continues on schedule. ?? We met with stakeholders on traffic planning, and we continue exploring safe and efficient options. Began test pile driving on Parcel 2A for the new Office Tower. ?? Construction is planned to begin on mixed-income, multi-family apartments next summer. ?? Contract negotiations are progressing with the broadband service provider.
