The event kicked off with incredible networking and an exciting keynote presentation by Jesse Itzler, highlighting some of the key traits of Riverbend – growing from humble beginnings to become a leading energy investment platform by forging our own path, believing, innovating and investing in ourselves, showing up every single day to consistently deliver results for more than 22 years. I recently sat down with Randolph Newcomer, Jr. (CEO) and Scott Rice (COO) from Riverbend Energy Group to walk through their 20+ year history of investing in Minerals & NonOp assets. Since being founded in 2003, Riverbend has managed 6 NonOp Funds and 2 Minerals Funds, in which they have fully exited/realized 5 of the NonOp funds and 1 of the Minerals funds. Throughout the episode, Randy & Scott comment on the evolution of the NonOp & Minerals ecosystems over time and why they began investing heavily into their own data & technology infrastructure to maintain a competitive edge on deal-flow. They also discuss their shift into direct fundraising ~10 years ago and how they've successfully developed relationships & track records with prominent institutional investors across their funds. Lastly, they walk through their investment criteria for their current NonOp Fund and Minerals Fund to help industry partners send them relevant deal-flow across the #Bakken, #DelawareBasin, #MidlandBasin, and #EagleFord.

Qube Technologies?has had an incredible year—expanding into new markets (e.g., RNG, landfills) and new geographies (Europe), welcoming new customers and partners, growing its talented team,?applying for alternative technology approval from the EPA,?achieving SOC 2 Type II certification, and making a global impact on reducing industrial methane emissions. At Riverbend, we’re proud to be both an investor and a satisfied customer. We are expanding the deployment of Qube's continuous monitoring technology across our operations in West Texas to enhance our sustainability efforts. Qube’s devices have been invaluable in identifying emissions in real time and enabling us to make critical repairs. In one instance, Qube’s end-to-end system helped us quickly identify and replace faulty Enardo valves—a leak that would have otherwise gone undetected until the site’s next scheduled leak detection and repair program inspection. We look forward to what the next 12 months has in store for Qube as they innovate and support the industry's efforts to reduce emissions and drive operational efficiency.

CarbonQuest is excited to announce our Series A capital raise, led by Riverbend Energy Group , which will allow us to bring our Distributed Carbon Capture? technology to new markets. We look forward to expanding our reach in the energy sector to help many of the “hard-to-abate” settings immediately decarbonize with #carboncapture.
