Established in 1995. Founder and owner David Guettler moved to Portland in 1995 specifically to open River City as the ultimate bike shop of his dreams. He and the staff work very hard to deliver the highest level of customer service. Named Best Bike Shop by Willamette Week's Best of Portland 2019-2021 reader's poll. We have been named a 'Top 100 Bicycle Retailer' every year since opening in 1995, and were named 'Best Bike Shop' in the nation in 2010 by Bicycle Retailer magazine. Proudly sponsoring local cycling organizations like The Street Trust, Northwest Trail Alliance, Sorella Forte, and more.
