Rive now supports N-Slicing. You choose which parts of your image stretch, tile, or stay fixed, so that your artwork doesn’t distort when you resize it. N-slicing originates from 9-slicing — a technique from game design. N-Slicing in Rive lets you split your image into as many sections as you want. And of course, it also works on vectors. It’s a highly performant technique from the gamedev world which we’re excited to bring to all designers. You can use it in conjunction with all of Rive’s features, including state machines and our recently launched responsive layouts.
