We are delighted that Rivada has been awarded a contract with the US Navy to develop and deliver Virtual Network Operator capabilities over Rivada's Outernet constellation. The Outernet architecture is resilient by design and recognized as key in enabling highly secure and global hashtag #connectivity for the U.S. Navy's communications. Commander Nick Goddard, Director of Operations of U.S. Navy Cyber Command, said: “Rivada is building a uniquely capable LEO constellation focused on zero trust networking.” He added: “The combination of security, symmetrical uplink and downlink speeds and global coverage are unique, and we are excited to collaborate with Rivada on how the Navy can best take advantage of Rivada’s gateway-less architecture for innovation today and in the future. Secure Communications – we can support encrypted communications, safeguarding sensitive data from potential adversaries. This ensures that all hashtag #communications whether voice, data or video, remain confidential and secure. ?? Operational Continuity – in the event of a disruption to terrestrial networks due to natural disaster, intentional interference or technical failure, we provide a reliable capability, ensuring that users remain operational and connected to across the entire command structure. ?? Interoperability – modern defense operations often involve joint or coalition forces each with their communications systems.
