Health, Hope, and Community: A Night of Impact It takes a caring community to make a difference. Last Thursday, Ritter Center supporter Katherine Randolph opened her home to nearly 50 concerned citizens to learn more about Ritter Center’s plans to renovate and relocate to a state-of-the-art health care facility in downtown San Rafael. This new facility will serve the unhoused and precariously housed, providing essential care to those who need it most. To date, the Ritter Builds Hope campaign has raised over $9.4 million toward our $14.5 million goal. Former client and board member, Sandi McMillion, shared her compelling story of resilience, belonging, and recovery. She spoke about how Ritter Center always met her where she was and never turned her away. At Ritter Center, she found love, belonging, and sobriety. ??Watch Sandi’s powerful story here: https://buff.ly/RySUMj0 ??Help others find health and belonging. We so appreciate Marin Independent Journal for highlighting the unveiling of our new behavioral health outreach van! “The center’s behavioral health services van was unveiled Friday at 800 A St. in San Rafael, the nonprofit’s future home. The van will bring mental health and substance use treatment to people across Marin County. ‘As I see outreach, it’s like you can have all the great services in the world, but if people aren’t coming to you, so what,’ said Mark Shotwell, the chief executive officer of the Ritter Center. ‘So this is the opportunity to go to where people are, to make it as easy as possible for them to be able to get what they need.’” ??
