  • ? Introducing HACK.COMS After hosting 2 successful iterations of the Tiger Games–first as a game jam and then as a hackathon–we’re excited to announce, HACK.COMS. HACK.COMS is a vibrant hackathon that highlights the computing talent of underrepresented students. During this event, participants will collaborate to develop innovative software solutions, whether an app, website, game, or digital creation. This experience provides students invaluable opportunities to interact with company sponsors and experienced mentors who offer guidance and support throughout the project development process. In addition, participants can enjoy engaging tech talks and activities that foster creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. This year, alongside our traditional hackathon, we're excited to introduce a new category designed to engage non-tech students! In this track, teams will present a business proposal, and at least one member must be a business major or studying in a related field. This category is a collaboration between HACK.COMS and the Multicultural Business Association @ RIT. ?? Event Details: Date: Saturday, November 2nd - Sunday, November 3rd Location: Rochester Institute of Technology’s Student Hall for Exploration and Development (SHED) Eligibility: - Must be a currently enrolled university student - Must be 18+ years of age (if not, you must already be enrolled at RIT) ?? Registration: https://lnkd.in/ey4MpSqq We are always open to sponsors, companies, and individuals eager to support this exciting event! By sponsoring HACK.COMS, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of this experience and meet talented students. If you're interested in partnering with us, please reach out! ??
