Big news for Bushwick! A $390M city project will upgrade the drainage system at Knickerbocker, Evergreen, Central, and Wilson Avenues—bringing relief to businesses and residents who have faced severe flooding for decades. The project will expand sewer capacity 10x, replace lead pipes, and add porous sidewalks to absorb rainwater. Special thanks to Council Member Sandy Nurse for advocating for this much-needed investment! Construction begins in 2029. #Bushwick #Infrastructure #FloodPrevention
