    This week, I had the honour of participating and attending the inaugural Rise & Lead Summit 2025 hosted at Amazon UK. Our panel, hosted by Gabriela Gomes and my fellow panelist; Emma OToole, Laurence Mariello, and Virginie VAST explored the evolving role of ERGs in driving change, especially in times of reduced resources. We discussed how ERGs can maintain engagement, advocate for inclusion, and align with business priorities to sustain long-term impact. Despite challenges, ERGs remain vital partners in advancing diversity. My key takeaways: ? Leadership sponsorship is essential — having senior leaders actively engaged strengthens ERG impact. ?? Prioritising initiatives helps maintain momentum — focusing on high-impact efforts ensures progress continues. ?? Agility is key — adapting to change will sustain long-term DE&I efforts. I had the privilege of leading a session on the?Role of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)?and facilitating an insightful discussion on the?strategic ROI of ERGs—how these groups are not just support networks but key drivers of inclusion, engagement, and organizational growth. The conversation reinforced what we already know: when companies invest in ERGs, they invest in their people, their culture, and ultimately, their success.
