Ripple Intent

This morning, I had the privilege of attending the Ripple Intent meeting, hosted at Swinerton’s office. The discussion centered on mentoring and coaching—a topic that always inspires reflection and growth. In our small group with Tom Gaunt, Chris Nieto, and Dani Raschel Mathews, AICP, we shared stories about mentors who have truly impacted our lives. A key takeaway? ??Vulnerability is essential to a successful mentorship, whether you're the mentor or the mentee. In the larger group, we explored what sets mentoring and coaching apart. One standout point: ?? A coach is invested in results, while a mentor is invested in you. We also talked about the value of building your own "personal board of directors" and embracing a generous mindset, like the one Tom mentioned from one of his connections: ?? “I’ll help anyone with anything, as long as it takes me 5 minutes or less.” (A warm email introduction is gold.) This conversation was a great reminder of the importance of connecting, giving, and supporting one another.
