Since the first in 2012, Thunderdome has come a long way. 1,500+ Rioters from 20+ offices participated this year. Some made the trip to LA, while others got together in Dublin, Sydney, Shanghai, or Singapore to collaborate in person. Seattle has a long history of gaming and esports innovation. From The International to XBOX, games wouldn’t be what they are today without the work that’s happened in the Emerald City. Our office on Mercer Island is modeled after an abandoned Radianite lab equipped with console playtest suites, a PC Cafe, and a gym. Location wise, Mercer Island provides a center point for Rioters who travel into the office whether they prefer the coastal vibes of Puget Sound or being in the shadow of Mt. Rainier. Rioters in our Washington office work across all of the areas of the company collaborating closely with our global headquarters in Los Angeles, including esports, games, data, core infrastructure, enterprise, and more: https://lnkd.in/gS9SkEQc

While Rioters are encouraged to give back to local communities year-round, we also host our annual Global Service Month, which we’ve done for nearly a decade, to give Rioters around the world a chance to come together to make a big impact. What a night market! Riot Unidos celebrated Latin American cultures in LA with over 20 unique vendors, artists, and local musicians. S/O to Riot Unidos for a night (market) to remember and a true celebration of culture, cuisine, and community.

Riot Unidos chose to represent the wide range of Latin American cuisines with an array of dishes taking inspiration from Sonora to Salvador to Cape Horn. NOMS outdid themselves this week for Latin American Heritage Month!
