Gearing up and excited to be heading to my home state in 2 weeks, for the upcoming 2025 Louisiana Transportation Conference hosted by Louisiana Department Of Transportation and Development & Louisiana Transportation Research Center, where I began my #CivilEngineering career. At Rinker Materials we know "resilient infrastructure" isn't just a buzzword- its a necessity, and we are all about #BuildingLouisianaStronger and ensuring communities can #GeauxResilient with precisely engineered, durable and sustainable high performance bridge and storm drain #infrastructure solutions. From hurricanes to heavy rains and flash floods, Louisiana roads and infrastructure take more hits than a crawfish boil on a Saturday night, and the State's #transportation network has to stand up to whatever Mother Nature throws their way. We were honored to welcome the FBS delegation to our Rinker Materials plant in Apopka, Florida, one of the largest U.S. manufacturers of concrete sewer systems. It was a pleasure to showcase our operations and innovative solutions. A special thank you to the American Concrete Pipe Association, Neama (Steve) Nilforoushan, and Melitza Avila for their invaluable support and for guiding the delegation during the tour.

In Apopka werden eine Vielzahl von Produkten hergestellt: von kreisrunden Rohren bis hin zu rechteckigen Profilen und den besonderen Maulprofilen, die bei niedriger Erdüberdeckung und hohem Regenwasserabflussvolumen zum Einsatz kommen. Diese sind besonders wichtig für die schnelle Entw?sserung bei den h?ufigen Starkregenereignissen in Florida. Beton ist auch in der unterirdischen Infrastruktur der USA der dominierende Werkstoff und wird neben seiner Stabilit?t und der Vielfalt an Querschnitten vor allem für seiner Extremwetter- sowie Feuerbest?ndigkeit gesch?tzt. Die hochautomatisierte Produktion in Apopka setzt Personal gezielt in sensiblen Produktionsprozessen ein, um h?chste Qualit?t zu gew?hrleisten. Besonders beeindruckend ist die riesige Bedampfungskammer, die den Erh?rtungsprozess der Rohre unter optimalen Bedingungen beschleunigt. Wir waren von der hohen Produktqualit?t, der Offenheit und Gastfreundschaft des Rinker-Teams in Orlando begeistert.
