There is nothing like the launch of a groundbreaking new product. I had an opportunity to do that with the Tweet Positioning System (the healthcare industry's first twitter analytics tool) at the Business Innovation Factory in 2009. I had the pleasure of launching MDigitalLife (the world's first audience analytics platform for online physicians) at the Mayo Clinic in 2012. And this past week, I launched AgentInfluence at #SxSW alongside my partners at Ringer Sciences, Yash Gad, PhD and Garrett Bond. My company, HealthQuant, has been focused on disrupting the KOL Identification & Strategy world since 2018. But AgentInfluence represents the biggest disruption yet. Instead of offering our clients in #Pharma, #Biotech and #MedTech a database of physician influencers along with some profiles, we're now offering their teams in Clinical Development, Medical Affairs and Commercial/Marketing/Comms a full, conversational AI platform that is trained to their data - specifically, exclusively and privately. As Ian Beacraft said in his brilliant feature presentation at SxSW, "The new 'Big Data' is small, high-signal data. What we need are targeted, super-clean and well-structured data sets" to drive custom-trained AI agents. And that's exactly what AgentInfluence brings to the table. It was fun presenting at my first #SXSW, where I conducted a live demo of our latest product, #AgentInfluence, alongside Yash Gad, PhD, and Greg Matthews on the rooftop of a bar. SXSW always has an electric atmosphere, and this year was no different. Austin really shines, and the city comes to life despite the chilly weather on Sunday (keep in mind that "chilly weather" for Austin in March is still 50 degrees ?? ). It was great connecting with numerous #healthdisruptors, and I want to give special thanks to Shwen Gwee for organizing and moderating the evening. We had a chance to do a deep dive on physician activity at last week's American Society of Hematology (#ASH24) congress, comparing the backchannel on Twitter/X with that on fledgling platform Bluesky Social. The results are fascinating! X still had roughly 4x more physicians posting at #ASH24 (929 to 240) but interestingly, normalized engagement with those posts was more than twice as high on BlueSky!
