One year ago today, we lost a valued member of our team, Joe Fay, who passed away unexpectedly. Joe was more than a Vice President and Project Manager—he was a dedicated colleague, a trusted mentor, and a friend to so many. His legacy lives on through the relationships he built with clients, coworkers, and friends, as well as in the many projects throughout our community that he helped bring to life. Joe’s impact continues to inspire us every day. We hold his family in our hearts and honor his memory as we reflect on the lasting mark he made on our company and the community we serve. He is missed but never forgotten.

We are proud to see our very own CFO, Miranda Von Ahsen, being recognized as a 2024 Tribute to Women of Achievement honoree! Miranda's dedication to her profession, community, and family exemplifies the spirit of this award, and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate her success. We’re thrilled to announce that Rinderknecht Associates (part of The Stark Group) has won The ESOP Association’s AACE Award for Series of Events in the Small Company category! This honor was presented at the awards luncheon in Las Vegas on Thursday, where members of our ESOP Engagement Committee and Leadership Team proudly represented us. Our award-winning submission featured Stark Week, a creative and engaging schedule of events celebrating our ESOP culture. From team-building activities to educational sessions, Stark Week brought our employee-owners together in a meaningful way, fostering a deeper understanding of what it means to be an owner. Being named one of two finalists in both the Community Engagement and Series of Events categories was already exciting, but this win is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our team! A huge thank you to The ESOP Association for this recognition, and congratulations to all the finalists and winners for their inspiring efforts in fostering employee ownership. From foundation to finish, every step counts as we continue to build a space that will serve the community for years to come. In honor of Employee Ownership Month, our team came together to support families in our community by hosting a diaper drive for YPN and the Eastern Iowa Diaper Bank! Over the past few weeks, we collected nearly 4,500 diapers, and our employee-owners spent time packaging them into groups of ten, just the way YPN and EIDB distribute them to families. Today, we had the pleasure of delivering these much-needed supplies. It feels incredible to give back, especially knowing that this effort will make a real difference for local families.
