As the Amerigo Vespucci ship left Alessandria, Egpyt - the last stop on the Tour Vespucci before returning to Italy -, we think back to January 2025, when we boarded this iconic ship accompanied by Villaggio Italia in the Middle East region. The signing of the MoU with Mayasem in Jeddah marked a significant milestone. This moment symbolized the beginning of a strategic collaboration that will leverage combined expertise and networks to advance key sectors such as infrastructure, real estate, energy and urban development across the region. Additionally, our Marine team hosted some of our key clients from the UAE and Saudi Arabia on board the Vespucci during its stay in Abu Dhabi and Jeddah. V. O. Chidambaranar Port Trust, formerly known as Tuticorin Port Trust, is one of the 12 major ports in India. This port is taking a pioneering step?toward maritime sustainability by launching?India's first pilot scale project for port decarbonization. We supported the V.O.Chidambaranar Port Authority in conducting a comprehensive evaluation of alternative fuel options, including green hydrogen, green ammonia, green methane and green methanol, ultimately recommending the latter as the most viable solution through 2030. The project has recently?achieved a significant?milestone, with the Mission Director approving our Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the deployment of green methanol as fuel for vessel propulsion, port operations, and bunkering facilities. Approved on behalf of the Ministry of Ports , Shipping and Waterways (India) and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), the project now advances to implementation stage, establishing VOC Port as home to India's first green methanol bunkering infrastructure. #GrowWithRINA
