Three months ago, it was just a pretty rendering. Then came the fun ground breaking ceremony with the gold shovels. But in the last couple of weeks, we've officially gone vertical with precast concrete walls up and steel being erected. Things are definitely moving fast with this new construction 138,012 square foot Class A Warehouse by Likewise Partners and ACKERBERG. In three short months (December 2024), this building will be fully enclosed and delivered. The location can't be beat: It overlooks I-90/94/39 near the USH 51 exit at Madison Logistics Park in Deforest, Wisconsin. Congratulations to the Village of Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue for celebrating the ribbon cutting of Fire Station No. 3! The new 21,350 SF station will enhance the Village’s emergency response capabilities and serve as the department’s new headquarters. The facility features modern offices, eight dorm rooms, a day room, a training and conference room, fitness center, and a drive-thru apparatus bay. A big thank you to our partners at Village of Pleasant Prairie, Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP, and Pinnacle Engineering Group for making this project a success!

Construction is complete for the Village of Caledonia’s new Public Safety Building, which is home to the combined headquarters for the Police and Fire Departments. After our initial study in 2021, the project broke ground in September 2022. The new facility replaced an outdated, crowded police facility and is located adjacent to the Village Hall. The Police and Fire Departments have dedicated, secure facilities within the building, with distinct amenities and shared lobby, fitness and training classroom spaces. The project is designed with future growth in mind, strengthens public safety and creates value for the community. ? For the third consecutive year, we teamed up with Kenosha Unified School District to host the Construction Careers Exploration Camp! We’ve seen a growing interest in the camp, with over 90 students applying for the opportunity to join. Students had the chance to dive into masonry, concrete, carpentry, tools, and drywall stations with guidance from our expert team at Riley. Special thanks to Pieper Electric, Inc., Lee Mechanical, and the Riley trade leaders and office staff for their support in making this camp possible!

Construction is moving quickly at the new 594,000 SF build-to-suit manufacturing facility for Smurfit Westrock in the LogistiCenter at Pleasant Prairie! The precast walls are up, and steel installation and decking are in progress. Exterior grading will continue over the next two weeks.
