The countdown is on to Riley’s official 100th birthday tomorrow, October 7! One of the greatest pieces of the Riley Children's Health legacy is championing the model of family-centered care. Before 1960, many hospitals limited visiting hours to once a week for just a few hours. This all changed when a Riley physician, Dr. Morris Green, and nurse Margaret Martin, recognized the need for families and caregivers to be deeply involved.
