When Johnathan Shelton got out of high school, there wasn’t some big, fancy career plan waiting for him. Just a broom, a shop floor, and a chance to prove himself. Exciting progress on our Replace Downtown Boiler Systems project in Augusta, GA!??? Our Cleaver-Brooks firetube boilers have officially arrived on-site and are now rigged into place on their concrete housekeeping pads. This complex operation was a true team effort, with seamless coordination between our Joint Venture team, our Trade Partner, Mann Mechanical, and the expert rigging crew at RIGUPATL. The boilers were offloaded using industrial-sized forklifts equipped with jib-crane attachments and a counter-balance weight system, then carefully set onto equipment skates. From there, a remote-controlled hydraulic skate guided them into their final position inside the boiler plant. Next up: installing the boiler stack system!???
