It was a powerful event, bringing local organizations together to discuss how to better serve the refugee and immigrants in the Kansas City Area through our collective resources, collaborative efforts, and mission-driven purposes. We were proud to present alongside several amazing organizations.

?? The Power of Partnership: Impact Beyond Measure ?? At Rightfully Sewn, we believe in the transformational impact that comes when non-profits unite for a common cause. Recently, we had the honor of partnering with PREP-KC and Pathful Inc. to bring an unforgettable experience to over 75 third graders from the Kansas City, Kansas School District. Our Executive Director, Tyler Bennett (a proud first-generation American), joined Myung Kim, an accomplished team member from South Korea, to share their personal journeys and talk about the rich, diverse tapestry of immigration in Kansas City. Through their stories, these young students explored themes of identity, belonging, and the incredible contributions of immigrants to our communities. Rightfully Sewn is on a mission to educate, equip, empower, and employ refugees and immigrants, providing them with opportunities to thrive as skilled artisans and valued members of our workforce. This partnership, and many like it, enables us to extend this mission, amplifying our reach and creating a lasting impact for individuals and the community.
