Forever Spring concluded the final days of the 2024 Lunar Year with a special presentation and Q&A session with UCLA Asian American Studies students. The students had the opportunity to watch a recent rough cut of Forever Spring for their assignment. I was honored to be invited to speak to the class on January 27, 2025. A survey was conducted to gather viewers' reactions to the Forever Spring rough cut, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Many described the film as “educational and moving.” One student remarked, “It was poignant and tragic; as a Vietnamese-American, I’ve never seen such shared experiences portrayed so publicly and accurately.”
