Insider – Young Professionals Awards 2025. Managing Director Emma Pearmaine had lots of fun with fellow judges Ben Foster from SEO Works, Andy Walker from Dudleys, Matthew Osbourne from Armstrong Watson and Peter Double from Andel on the judging panel at the Insider – Young Professionals Awards 2025.? Emma says.. ‘The standard of submissions was so high it was really difficult to choose the winners and we talked long and hard before we agreed a winner in each category. It was great fun to see what our local young talent are achieving and fantastic to see that they get such support from their employers. I think our future is bright with this next generation of superstars!’

Our Christmas appeal really has resonated with our supporters and contacts. Shockingly, there are currently over 6,000 children across the district that don’t have their own bed to sleep in! The initial aim was to raise ￡200 to be able to buy a bed for a child before Christmas. Due to the response received, we are upping this to 4 beds and ￡800. The call to action has resulted in so many donations from across the region towards our luxury hamper. So much so we are creating a second luxury hamper! In even more exciting news, we would like to say a massive thank you to Celia Candebat and the team at Groundsure for providing the third hamper. Our adventurous skydiving team were invited to Maggie's Centres in Leeds today for a cheque presentation of the fantastic ￡5,330 raised. They were joined by their colleague Liz and former colleague Tracey whom they were raising money for. It was lovely being shown round the centre and having their work explained to us by Amy. Their centres are open without appointment for people who have had cancer diagnoses and their family. They offer a quiet space as well as support groups, therapy and holistic treatments. Their first centre was set up in Edinburgh for Maggie who was a landscape architect by her husband, an architect. Each centre is therefore built with this in mind, promoting serenity in its structure and having a green space visible from every window.

We're excited to welcome Tamara Dove-O'Hara to our South Elmsall team! ?? Tamara joins us as an Associate Solicitor in the Family Law department, handling everything from divorce and financial settlements to child applications and injunctions. Tamara is passionate about maintaining a great work-life balance at Ridley & Hall and is currently learning British Sign Language, with the aim of being able to represent members of the deaf community without an interpreter in the future. ??
