Working with with a client last week on an application for cyber insurance, I was struck by 1) the underwriter's reliance on the applicant's self-attestation regarding the security measures they implement and 2) by the fixation on security measures addressing the applicant's IT but really none of the other tech in their networks. The business in question runs a facility that includes a business office, of course, but an entire physical facility and warehouse operations with a healthy dose of OT and IoT systems as well. These aren't really addressed in the application questionnaire at all.
