The Greenville Transit Authority (GTA) is the designated regional transportation authority for Greenville County. Since 2008, GTA has contracted the City of Greenville to operate Greenlink - the branded name for public transit services. The Greenville Transit Authority is governed by a seven-member Board. Two members are appointed by Greenville City Council, two by Greenville County Council, and three by the Greenville County Legislative Delegation. Presently, Greenlink operates 12 fixed routes covering 94 square miles in Greenville County. Greenville Area Paratransit (GAP) is Greenlink’s complimentary paratransit service available for people who are unable to use fixed routes due to a disability but are traveling to destinations within 3/4-mile of a fixed route. Additionally, Greenlink operates the downtown trolley network to quickly connect pedestrians with other parts of the central business district. More information at www.RideGreenlink.com.

Meet Oscar! We'd like to highlight Oscar for his level of customer service. ???????? A new customer recently wrote to us about her experience using Greenlink: "The driver Oscar, driving 509, really helped me. I was so upset, my car broke down and I was just trying to get home. We got to the transit (center), he called me as I went to get off. He noticed I was upset, I didn't know it was so obvious. He said they are trained to notice those things. I'm so thankful for that because I was so lost and a little scared. He walked me to the bus I needed to get closer to home and even talked to the driver for me to let her know where I need to get off. I'm so thankful for him. He really really helped me when nobody else did. Thank you Oscar! God bless you!"
