Orchids are a crop that require very strict climate control. Ridder climate screens contribute to the growth of these orchids. The Sun Shading Screen provides 60% shade and is used primarily in the summer months. Used during periods of high light intensity, the screen softens the light on the crop and diffuses the light to the crop. The RSS screen can be used with roof ventilation because it has an open structure so airflow can freely go through the screen. The Light Restriction Screen is used in tandem with the supplemental lighting to keep the light inside the greenhouse and maximize efficiency of the lights. When the lamps are used after dark in the greenhouse, this screen reflects light back onto the crop and blocks 99% of light from leaving the greenhouse.
